Born in 1977, Tokyo, Japan

Yoshi77, a hair stylist who is currently based in London.
Yoshi started his career in 1996; he worked for various salons in Japan, including Truth in Chiba and Kakimoto Arms in Tokyo.

In 2001, Yoshi opened his first salon, Roots, with his best mate in Chiba, until 2006, when he decided to explore London for the new challenges.
Same as many other amazing hair stylists around the world, Yoshi picked up a Diploma from the only Sassoon Academy in London.

In 2007, Yoshi met his incredible mentor by chance, Peter Gray who constantly throwing him lots of inspiration and support.
To name a few, Yoshi’s work including twice a year for the London Fashion Week with a team of six talented hair stylists, for Jasper Conran, Jean Charles de Castelbajao, Paul Smith, Topman and Vivienne Westwood are the common.

Magazine and editorial publications there are the Dazed Digital, InStyle, L’Uomo Vouge, Numero and Numero Man, etc.
Lookbooks and private events for Akris, Acne, Reiss, Telegraph and Tommy Hilfiger, etc.

77 is the year when Yoshi was born and it is also his lucky number.
